Cyber Game

Today during  cyber smart We have been creating a cyber smart game using different drawings and tactics that we know how to stay safe from online.I used Mr.Hopkins(Our cyber smart teacher)cyber game to get ideas for my game.We made a cyber smart game so we can remember how to be always safe when online.I found adding images was really easy to find on GOOGLE. It was really easy and challenging because we had to make our own drawing and then add the links to each image that we added.If I could start again I would make a Would You Rather? Game but a CyberSmart Edition.

Reflection-Alice In Wonderland Production!

After our Production based on the Famous Film Alice In Wonderland.We had to reflect on our bad times and good times during the production to reflect we had to use the thinking hats such as green,blue,black,red & yellow each of the colours represent a question to answer.Here is a Google drawing that shows an example.

Toys!

In Inquiry This term we have been making and learning about toys.Our Toys had to include a mechanism to be able to finish your toy.Only the Year 5 & 6 made the toys we had to work in buddies so it will be more easier to create the toy together. Here Is an example of our toy

our mechanism is the wheels it was supposed to fly but we had failed because some of our measuring was wrong at the end.Here is picture of our toy in different angles.

Novel Study

During School we have been doing a novel study about the book that we were given.We had 5 weeks to read the whole book and then reflect about the story that we have just read, to reflect we had to do 8 different activities to finish our Novel Study.The Story I read & reflect about was called The Secret Of Jelly Mountain the book was really interesting and very mysterious.Here is a slide to explain what we did.


I enjoyed the book(The Secret of Jelly Mountain)because It has helped my reading a lot during the
Novel Study.

R8 & R9 Birth Places

Greetings, During Cyber smart today with Mr.Hopkins.We had to use google maps to pin where we are from. .

How far have some students travelled in their lifetime to reach WPS? Sifa has Travelled 1,000 kilometres to get to WPS.

Why do people make the choice to move to different countries? Learning,Work & Tourist

Is this a trend in NZ society? What\ does the media tell us?
I think this is a trend because there are people from different culture and countries that are here at New Zealand.

People from anywhere in the world should be allowed to travel anywhere we maybe in different races but we are all humans.

Scenario Learning.

During Cyber Smart Today we have been learning about scenarios.We had to think about a moment

in time where we have been kin a situation where we have been having some Cyber problems,like Been Hacked,Mean words and other problems.

-I would leave the party and block the user that send an invitation to me.
-I could tell someone that is close to me like Family members.
--Yes- problem will get worse & more serious.
--No-the problem will be fine and better after a couple of days. 

Art Festival.

This term we have been focusing on art.Each class created an artwork to represent their class when the art festival begins all of ours arts are completely

different.Room 8 did joiners by David Hockney here is an example of mine.I learnt that i had to carefully picture and connect all the pieces together when doing an joiner.I also have an explanation of How room 8 made our joiners?.

During art we have been learning about David Hockney and his famous piece of artworks.I made an google drawing about David Hockney here is some facts and answers.

Rewrite The Comment.

Today,During Cybersmart we had to find an average type of blog comment.Then we had to copy and paste it after that we had to  improve and then add more Details/Punctuation.Also we had to post the comment that we created.

Blog Commenting.

Today During Cybersmart we learnt about having a really detailed and excellent comment that includes punctuation and spelling.We had a padlet already created and then type down all of our ideas of a Good&Structured blog comment.

Learning/Reflection

Today during Cybersmart we were reflecting on our after and before.We had to pick a post and then improve the description by using more punctuation and details and then update it.

Term 2 Football Zones.

On Term 2 the Waikowhai team went to Football Zones,Lucky I made it in to have the experience.There was a Girls&Boys team.But also there was 2 boys teams Team 1 & 2.But I just couldn't believe that team 1 came first on Football Zones,we made Waikowhai history!.

Blog treaty.

The Whole Senior Syndicate did a special  treaty. So Room 8  thought that, we could do a treaty for our individual blogs. We first did a treaty with the whole class and then discussed it with James.
Also I will make sure that I will only share learning with my blog.
